Tour De FranceWith the rampant entusiasm of a returning biker I've been diving into all things bike for the last few months which has culminated in a healthy interest in the TDF, which included buying a Hard Drive Freeview box for the nights I can't get back in time to watch the ITV4 show! (or when the weather's too good to miss a quick blast up the Tarka Trail)
So come on guys and gals - who's gonna win? I'll open the debate with an outside stab at Levi Liepheimer (I've got a Trek MTB so want to back Discovery!)
Is Vinikourov out of it or does Astana's performance today mean he's planning a fight back? Or will Kloedon take the baton?
Or have I barked up two completely incorrect trees?

At moment can't see past Rasmussen - don't think Leipheimer has enough to do it in the Pyrenees.
Only Discovery hope is Contador but don't think he will be allowed to break away to gain enough time to claw back on the yellow jersey and since Menchov is no slouch up a mountain I wouldn't be surprised if you find Rabobank trying to wipe out the remaining contenders on Stage 16.

Just watching Friday's stage 12 and I loved the downhill run-in - those downhill hill bends looked so much fun!
I had to record last night's show because I was playing bowls (not the cool kind either, don't ask!) Looking forward to seeing what effect the time trial will have on the race. This is the first time I've watched a TDF so closely so I don't really have much of an idea, but all the commentators are saying it should shake things up.
As for stage 16 - I just had a look at it in my magazine and I'd be knackered doing that in a car!!
